Find information in a language you can use
Available languages and translation support depend on what Northstar has configured and published. This sample does not confirm which languages are supported, promise translation on request, or imply that pages change language automatically.
Use a translated version only when it is published as an approved version of the relevant content. If you cannot find one, ask your manager to identify the responsible content owner and confirm the support route.
A practical way to look
Confirm the available languages and request route before publishing this guidance as company-specific.
Check the published material
Look in Communications for the update and any translated versions published alongside it.
- Check that the translation is for the same update.
- Check its date and intended audience.
Ask when a translation is missing
Ask your manager to identify the content owner and confirm the available language-support route.
- Name the content you need.
- State the language and work location.
Company updates and translations
Before launch, the Communications owner should confirm the languages available, how translated versions are identified, and the route for reporting a missing or incorrect translation.
