Use the configured Speak Up process

Use Speak Up for concerns covered by Northstar's configured reporting process. The current process explains how information is handled and what follow-up may be possible. This fictional sample does not promise confidentiality, a response time, or a particular outcome. Confirm the approved route and current reporting guidance before publication.

Prepare to raise a concern

  1. 1

    State the concern clearly

Describe the issue in a short, factual sentence and identify the relevant policy or topic if known.

  2. 2

    Separate what you observed

Distinguish what you directly saw or heard from what someone else reported or what you inferred.

  3. 3

    Add relevant context

Note dates, locations, and people or records involved only when known and relevant.

  4. 4

    Use the approved route

Follow the current Speak Up instructions. Keep supporting information in approved channels; do not alter records or circulate sensitive information outside them.
