Make readiness work visible and useful
A practical starting point for healthcare teams organizing owners, evidence, tracer practice, and follow-up.
Fictional Northstar Services example: use this hub to find the next readiness task and see how the pieces connect.
A simple readiness cycle
Move from clear ownership to learning and follow-through.
- Assign an owner. Confirm who coordinates each chapter and which roles support the work.
- Keep evidence findable. Record what an item is, where the approved copy lives, who maintains it, and when it was last reviewed.
- Practice a tracer. Walk through a sample experience, note what participants can show or explain, and capture questions neutrally.
- Follow observations. Agree an action owner and next check, then record what evidence shows the action was completed.
The examples on this site demonstrate a workflow; they do not determine or certify readiness.

Worked example: from gap to follow-up
A fictional training-record example shows how the cycle can work.
The example describes a coordination task, not a compliance conclusion.
-
Observe
Record the question
During a practice tracer, a participant cannot locate the current orientation outline. Record the question and the location checked.
-
Assign
Route it to an owner
The chapter coordinator asks the learning-program owner to confirm the current approved copy and its storage location.
-
Review
Check the follow-up
The coordinator records the confirmed location and checks with a second participant that the route is easy to find.
